I just joined. This is such a great idea!
I was thinking there needs to be an article about Ann, but I wouldn't know where to categorize it. Any ideas? I don't know how far we want to go with information about her, but she could potentially have her own category with separate articles about, for instance, her other books.

Giving her her own category makes sense to me. We can always reorganize the index/categorization later if we figure out a better way to do it as we get more content.

I was looking at the article on Stuff 'n' Nonsense in the Washington Mall, and that's also the name of one of the stores on Main Street in the Main Street books. I was wondering if we should include stuff like that in these articles or not, considering that it's not actually from the BSC. Should we maybe mention related things from other Ann books under a particular subheading at the end of articles when there's a situation like that? I apologize if you've already got a procedure for this and I just haven't noticed.

It could just go under a general "trivia" heading. Or a more specific one, if you want. There's no set procedure, at least that I'm aware of :)

Not a bad idea, either, especially because I'm pretty sure she would still be listed at the top unless another writer's first name comes before "Ann" alphabetically.
